Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Security Flex Officer - Part Time in Ellendale, ND. This position monitors premises, controls access, and patrols client sites to maintain a safe environment and enforce site regulations.

You will interact with client staff and visitors, respond calmly to emergencies, and rely on technology devices throughout your shift. A HS diploma, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay calm under pressure.
• Valid Driver's License may be required for some locations.
• 1 year of security, law enforcement, or military policy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Monitor premises using access control and patrol routines as assigned.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property and respond to incidents as needed.

Security Flex Officer - Part Time

Primary Location: Ellendale, ND

Wage: $23.50/Hour

TheFlex Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required for some locations.
• 1 year of security, law enforcement, or military policy experience preferred.
