ARMED SECURITY SUPERVISOR

FLORIDA CLASS D & G LICENSES REQUIRED (License needs to current and active) You need to have both License

Overnight Shift: 9 pm to 5 am Full time and Part time

Excelsior Defense, Inc. is currently looking for a highly motivated and trustworthy individual to become an integral part of our elite team of security professionals. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons. The security officer overnight supervisor is responsible for administrative and operational functions, supervises the staff, resolves concerns and elevate issues as needed.

This position is for a Security Field Supervisor to monitor multiple sites for the overnight shift from 9 pm to 5 am, while using a company vehicle within the Orlando Area. We are looking for a Full time and a part time person.

Responsibilities:

• Write detailed and accurate incident reports
• Respond to Emergency Situations
• Conduct routine safety and security inspections
• Possess the ability to apply common sense
• Knowledge and technical skills to correct problems in the field
• Possess the ability to train employees to perform task
• Must be able to have open availability and be able to work weekends and holidays

Physical Requirement:

• Work in various environment such as cold weather, rain, or heat
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift

Duties

• Takes proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment for staff and visitors
• Conducts regulars walk throughs and security inspections for assigned facilities
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Branch Manager
• Must read and speak fluent English
• Train New Security Staff

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a Driver's license and a clean driving record with reliable transportation
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have Strong computer skills
• Proven experience as security officer supervisor
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Must have valid state of Florida Class D Security and Class G statewide Firearms License (Not your Concealed Carry License)
