Job summary

Harvard Protection Services, LLC. is seeking a field supervisor to lead security teams and deliver best-in-class security and life safety services.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure contract requirements are met, and manage scheduling, training, and reporting for multiple client accounts. The role requires 1–3+ years of security experience, a valid security guard license, and strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years civilian law enforcement or private or corporate security experience.
• Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period.
• Reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer-focused security and life safety services.
• Lead and supervise staff across assigned accounts.
• Schedule, manage overtime, review logs and incident reports.
• Train, coach, and mentor security personnel.
• Prepare reports on incidents and weekly/monthly manager reports.

Job Summary

The field supervisors / security supervisors support Harvard Protection in our goal of providing best in class security and life safety services. Our supervisors are responsible for providing professional customer-focused security and life safety services for the people and the property they protect and our employees that they lead. Position is responsible for day-to-day leadership and supervision of a portfolio of customer accounts.

• A true Leadership position
• Ensure quality services are provided to meet customer expectations and contract requirements
• Regularly inspect, supervise, train, coaching, mentor, and lead security personnel assigned to the facility/building
• Perform operations related functions that include; scheduling, overtime management, review of daily logs and incident reports, training and development of staff
• Assist in monitoring/developing staff performance to include supervision, evaluations, disciplinary matters, training, scheduling, callouts, assigning work
• Assist in maintaining up to date and accurate timekeeping systems and records for staff
• Provide immediate response to emergencies and issues that arise
• Follow and coordinate established emergency response, action planning and procedures
• Maintain availability to portfolio of accounts assigned
• May be required to initiate preliminary investigations into incidents
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities, as required
• Prepare required weekly, bi-weekly and monthly manager reports
• Assist to procure, process and maintain uniforms and equipment
• The essential duties and responsibilities may differ by customer location assigned

• State or municipality mandated security officer licenses
• Candidates should possess some of the following verifiable experiences;
• 1-3+ years civilian law enforcement or private or corporate security experience
• 2-4+ years military experience with a favorable discharge
• Must have reliable means of communication and transportation
• Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, customer service environment
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office
