Job description

The Security Engineering Governance & Data Analyst is responsible for providing data-driven visibility into technology performance, operational health, technology initiatives, and technology financial management across SAEP. This role develops executive reporting, analytics, and governance processes that enable leaders to monitor progress, manage risks, and optimize technology investments. Working closely with technology, finance, and business partners, the role transforms complex operational and financial data into actionable insights that support informed decision-making and effective portfolio oversight. Focuses on measuring performance, providing transparency through reporting and analytics, and enabling effective governance of technology investments and modernization efforts.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Technology Financial Management & Cost Optimization
  • Analyze and report on technology spending, consumption trends, and cost drivers to provide transparency and support effective financial management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and optimize technology investments in alignment with business objectives.
  • Executive Reporting & Operational Analytics
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance executive reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics that provide visibility into operational, financial, and technology outcomes.
  • Synthesize complex data into meaningful insights that support leadership awareness and informed decision-making.
  • Technology Initiatives Governance
  • Monitor and report on technology initiatives, including key milestones, dependencies, risks, outcomes, and business impact.
  • Support governance processes by providing reporting and analysis that enable visibility into initiative progress and organizational objectives.
  • Portfolio Performance Monitoring & Insights
  • Track and analyze portfolio performance metrics, operational health indicators, and technology trends across supported areas.
  • Identify emerging risks, variances, and opportunities, providing insights to assist leadership in managing priorities and achieving desired outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Business Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted partner to technology, finance, and business stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment across organizational priorities.
  • Support planning, reporting, and governance activities by providing subject matter expertise, analytical support, and actionable insights.
Qualifications:

Preferences:
  • Undergraduate degree in related field (Computer Science, Engineering) required. Graduate degree preferred.
