Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
• 5+ years of security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
• Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity principles, theories, and concepts.
• Experience applying security practices across the software development lifecycle.
• Advanced knowledge of threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing.
• Experience implementing and managing complex information security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cybersecurity solutions for the job area, contributing to design and implementation approaches.
• Conduct threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing for in-scope platforms.
• Integrate and configure information security technologies in production environments.
• Act as a technical escalation point for challenging security issues.
• Evaluate security threats, tools, and design options to inform plans and goals.
• Partner with product and engineering to apply secure-by-design practices and governance controls.
• Develop and maintain security baselines, guardrails, and control implementations.
• Lead incident response and basic forensic activities for services in scope.
• Provide guidance and training through reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.
• Lead significant security engineering workstreams and coordinate team contributions.
