Job summary

Salesforce in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Senior/Lead Security Engineer to embed security across infrastructure and application code, helping protect the platform and customers as it scales.

You will design, validate, monitor, and remediate security across new capabilities with strong partner support, including agentic AI-assisted development workflows built with Claude. This role is onsite in San Francisco and offers comprehensive security, compliance, and growth benefits.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in security engineering.
• Experience in application or infrastructure security.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and threat modeling.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation tooling.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of experience.
• Experience in application and/or infrastructure security engineering.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and threat modeling practices.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation tooling.
• Agentic Engineer experience, including securing and reviewing AI-assisted development workflows built with Claude, such as agent loops and tool use.

Salary range: USD 172,500 - 285,800 per year.

Preferred skills

• Relevant security certification (for example, CISSP or OSCP).
• Experience securing networking or IoT platforms.
