Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Security Engineer to drive secure AI-assisted development, review security for new features, and partner with engineering to mitigate vulnerabilities. You will build tooling for vulnerability scanning and monitoring while supporting compliance as the platform scales.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years of security engineering experience, familiarity with threat modeling, and knowledge of frameworks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–8 years of experience in security engineering or related field.
• Experience in application or infrastructure security engineering.
• Familiar with security frameworks and threat modeling practices.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation tooling.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development workflows and agent/tool security considerations.

Required Skills/Experience

• You have 4-8 years of experience.


• You have experience in application or infrastructure security engineering.


• You are familiar with common security frameworks and threat modeling practices.


• You have experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation tooling.


• You are an Agentic Engineer - you understand how to secure and review AI-assisted development workflows built with Claude and similar tools, including agent loops and tool use.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• You hold a relevant security certification (e.g. CISSP, OSCP).


• You have experience securing networking or IoT platforms.
