Job summary

Sungrow North America is hiring a Security Engineer - Network & Identity (Contractor) in Houston. The role focuses on network security, PKI and certificate management, and identity & access across on‑prem, cloud, and SaaS environments.

You will own security architecture, automate processes, and enable Zero Trust across platforms. The position emphasizes secure design, implementation, and governance, with a strong emphasis on encryption, authentication, and least privilege in a dynamic enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computing or engineering.
• 5+ years in security engineering, IAM, or related field.
• Experience with enterprise PKI, certificate lifecycle, and MFA.
• Familiarity with cloud and on‑prem identity, network security, and Zero Trust.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and secure enterprise network architectures and access controls.
• Own PKI, cryptography, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Define authentication standards and enforce Conditional Access and Zero Trust.
• Manage cloud and on‑prem identity solutions across Azure and AWS environments.
• Automate provisioning, deprovisioning, and security governance tasks.
