Security Engineer - Mergers & Acquisitions

About The Team

As we expand, we seek a Security Engineer specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to support our Information Security team. This role is vital for ensuring secure integration of acquired entities and maintaining high security standards across our organization.

Responsibilities

• Travel to acquisition sites (50%+ travel) to evaluate security posture.
• Conduct security evaluations of potential targets.
• Develop and implement security integration strategies for acquisitions.
• Design and execute security integration plans.
• Maintain visibility across integrated systems and networks.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure security during M&A processes.
• Architect and implement security controls for cloud, production, and corporate environments.

Minimum Qualifications

• 50%+ travel required.
• Knowledge of adversary tradecraft and mitigation controls.
• At least 3 years of experience with programming (Python, Go, Rust, etc.) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS CDK).
• Experience with security architecture reviews and defensive controls.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex projects.
• Participation in incident response events.
• Eligible for U.S. Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud systems and CI/CD pipelines.
• Building log ingestion and storage pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP security tools.
• Experience troubleshooting security tools (EDR, Logging, Monitoring).
• Strong Linux OS skills.

Compensation & Benefits

US Salary Range: $130,900—$196,350 USD. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, life insurance, PTO, parental leave, mental health resources, professional development stipends, meals, commuter benefits, relocation assistance, and 401(k).
