Responsibilities

Описание: Samsara provides the Connected Operations Cloud, a platform that enables organizations reliant on physical operations to use IoT data to develop actionable insights and improve operations. Its product solutions include video-based safety, vehicle telematics, apps and driver workflows, and equipment monitoring.

• Co-own the day-to-day operation, triage, and tuning of the endpoint security environment by responding to escalations, investigating anomalies, and resolving issues
• Improve endpoint visibility tools and workflows in partnership with the Security Operations team, using real usage patterns and incident learnings
• Write documentation and runbooks for enterprise security workflows
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Security partners to ensure proper implementation of security tools and policies
• Assist the Security Operations team with security investigations as a technical subject matter expert
• Partner with engineering teams to triage vulnerabilities and misconfigurations and support their remediation
• Mentor Security team engineers to develop their domain knowledge, tool-specific skills, and communication abilities
• Champion and model company cultural principles: Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, and Win as a Team

Требования

• 5+ Years of relevant experience in an Enterprise Security role, with demonstrated impact
• Hands-on experience operating and maintaining endpoint security and visibility tools at enterprise scale, such as Crowdstrike or osquery
• Experience with at least one additional enterprise security tool stack, such as SASE, zero trust systems, email security, DLP, or IAM
• Experience scripting and debugging code with Python, with or without AI assistance, and using SOAR platforms
• Familiarity with common security challenges and the ability to independently assess their severity and business impact
• A track record of delivering impactful work across multiple quarters and collaborating effectively across teams
