Qualifications

• 3+ years of programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar OO language.
• 2+ years scripting, programming, and security code review (non-internship).
• 2+ years troubleshooting systems, logs, or automation via command line (non-internship).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Knowledge of networking protocols HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP.
• 4+ years in security domains: app security, identity, cloud, threat intel, pentesting.
• Knowledge of access-control, cryptography, security architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable systems that detect, classify, and prevent security escapes across all of Amazon.
• Develop and extend LOAF's neural network-powered detection capabilities, improving precision and coverage.
• Architect shift-left tooling integrated into developer workflows to catch vulnerabilities before production.
• Own critical components of LOAF's platform end-to-end from design through deployment.
• Partner with security teams to translate escape patterns into automated detection and prevention.
• Build APIs and integrations for engineering teams to consume LOAF's data and tooling.
• Define and instrument metrics measuring real reduction in escape volume.
• Investigate novel vulnerability patterns and prototype detection approaches.
