Job summary

Barracuda is seeking an energetic Security Engineer II to configure and deploy security technologies across our cloud and enterprise environments, strengthening controls and auditability. You will partner with Security, IT, Engineering, and Ops to close gaps and improve resilience.

You will implement CSPM/SSPM/NSPM tooling and Harden IAM controls in cloud identity platforms, while building automated reporting and dashboards for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 2+ years of security experience or equivalent.
• Experience configuring security technologies in cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
• Knowledge of IAM concepts and tooling (Entra ID, CA, MFA, PAM).
• Experience with CSPM/SSPM/NSPM tooling (Wiz, CrowdStrike, AlgoSec).
• Scripting and automation with Python/PowerShell/SQL; source control and job scheduling.
• Ability to build security reports and metrics with BI tools like Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy security technologies across Barracuda's cloud and enterprise environment.
• Build and operate CSPM/SSPM/NSPM capabilities using Wiz, CrowdStrike, AlgoSec.
• Onboard SaaS platforms into a security posture management solution via API integrations.
• Harden IAM controls in a cloud identity platform (e.g., Entra ID) including CA, PIM, MFA, and provisioning.
• Manage PAM with CyberArk including onboarding, safe creation, and monitoring.
• Automate security reviews and drift detection with scripting and scheduling tools.
• Develop automated security reporting and dashboards for stakeholders and auditors.
• Manage endpoint security and device compliance via Intune and related tooling.
• Support break-glass and emergency-access programs for resilience.
