HAP Tech, a subgroup of BRG’s Healthcare Analytics practice (HAP), is one of the firm’s largest and fastest growing teams. This innovative group is currently looking for talented and dynamic professionals to join us as we continue to grow! HAP Tech supports and advises pharmaceutical manufacturers on navigating the challenges of the 340B program and the broader healthcare ecosystem. We are a market leader in data and technology solutions related to 340B issues, serving major pharmaceutical companies and biotech startups. Our services include syndicating solutions, integrating data, and delivering analytics and insights into the 340B program and pharmaceutical supply chain.

BRG’s HAP Tech team is seeking a motivated Security Engineer to be an integral part of our Security team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cybersecurity and possess extensive expertise in the security domain.

Responsibilities

1. Engineer, implement, and monitor security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and information.
2. Identify and define system security requirements.
3. Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cybersecurity designs.
4. Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
5. Develop technical solutions and new security tools to mitigate vulnerabilities and automate tasks.
6. Write comprehensive reports on assessments, findings, outcomes, and recommendations for security enhancements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as a System Security Engineer or Information Security Engineer.
• Deep technical knowledge of database and operating system security.
• Thorough understanding of security principles, techniques, and protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Familiarity with web technologies (applications, services, architectures) and network/web protocols.
• Hands-on experience with security systems such as firewalls, intrusion detection, anti-virus, authentication, and log management.

Candidate must be able to verify legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $170,000 per year.
