Brain Co. is seeking a Security Engineer, Detection & Response to design and operate our detection and response capabilities as we scale.

Reporting to the Head of Security, you will partner with engineering, infrastructure, IT, and product teams to protect environments and respond to incidents with automated triage and incident workflows. You will build high-signal detections, reduce noise, and translate incident data into safer engineering defaults.

• Design and implement security detections and response workflows.
• Investigate incidents and reduce mean time to detect/resolve.
• Build automated triage and incident-response tooling.

• Design, build, and operate detection and response capabilities.
• Lead cross-functional incident response across apps, cloud, endpoints, identity, and infra.
• Translate incident findings into safer engineering defaults and playbooks.
• Continuously improve detection quality and response procedures.
