Google is seeking a Security Engineer to scope and perform comprehensive security reviews of network devices deployed in its data centers. You will develop threat models, define security requirements for hardware products, and collaborate with multiple teams across time zones to enhance safety for users and developers.
You will work with software engineers to identify and fix vulnerabilities, implement security controls, and lead AI-assisted review campaigns on firmware and specifications.
Our Security team works to create and maintain the safest operating environment for Google's users and developers. Security Engineers work with network equipment and actively monitor our systems for attacks and intrusions. In this role, you will also work with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities.
In this role, you will scope and perform comprehensive security reviews of network devices that are going to be deployed in Google datacenters. You will develop and refine threat models, risk assessments, and define security requirements for hardware products entering Google’s data centers.

US: $147000 - $210000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
