Job summary

Mary Kay Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer to build and operate security platforms across cloud-native environments.

You will contribute to automation, cloud security, Kubernetes security, and threat detection while collaborating with platform, DevOps, and security teams. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in security engineering, hands-on Linux and cloud experience, familiarity with SIEM/EDR tools, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in Security Engineering, Platform/DevSecOps
• Bachelor's degree; security certs preferred
• Linux and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) experience
• Kubernetes/containers knowledge; Python/Go/PowerShell/Bash; Git
• Experience with SIEM/EDR platforms preferred

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain security platforms and automation.
• Develop integrations using APIs and IaC.
• Improve security across cloud, containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Create and tune detections for cloud, endpoint, identity, and container threats.
• Support threat hunting and incident response.
• Contribute to Detection-as-Code and automation.
