Job summary

Mary Kay Global is seeking a Security Engineer to build and operate security platforms across cloud-native environments. You will contribute to automation, cloud security, Kubernetes security, and detection capabilities while collaborating with Platform, DevOps, and Security teams.

The role requires 2–5 years in security roles, Linux and cloud proficiency, and experience with security tooling like SIEM/EDR and IaC.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Security Engineering or related field.
• Bachelor's degree; security certifications preferred.
• Experience with Linux and cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containers.
• Experience with Python/Go/PowerShell/Bash.
• Experience with Git and automation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain security platforms and automation.
• Develop integrations using APIs and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Improve security across cloud, containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Create and tune detections for cloud, endpoint, identity, and container threats.
• Support threat hunting and incident response.
• Contribute to Detection-as-Code and automation.
