Job summary

Slash is seeking a Software Engineer to own and scale the security of our platform. You will secure the full stack from network to application and establish guardrails that let the team move quickly without compromising safety.

Responsibilities include managing security across Cloudflare/AWS, coordinating pen tests, and driving compliance efforts while enabling growth and reliability.

Qualifications

• Security generalist with knowledge across the stack from infra to code.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes/EKS, AWS, Terraform and related tools.
• Experience coordinating pen tests, audits, and security priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own Slash's security program end-to-end and drive improvements.
• Secure network, infrastructure, and application layers across the stack.
• Lead pen tests, bug bounty coordination, and remediation efforts.
• Support PCI, SOC 2 and other compliance activities.
• Interface with customers and vendors to demonstrate security practices.
