Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• Knowledge of access-control systems, network security, and cryptography.
• Experience with coding/scripting in one or more languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, PowerShell).
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Amazonians to create and execute security controls and countermeasures.
• Develop, test, review, debug, or deploy code that supports security protocols.
• Work with your team to identify security problems and improve service security.
• Assess risks affecting data confidentiality, integrity, or availability.
• Resolve security events using penetration tests, ethical hacking tools, or risk methodologies.
• Classify, store, and handle data per policy and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, research root causes, and resolve security issues with guidance.
