Job summary

OMES in Oklahoma City is seeking a Security Engineer to lead and support enterprise information security across infrastructure, systems, and data environments. You will ensure security requirements are defined, validated, and aligned with state standards, while acting as a technical authority on engineering and vulnerability management.

You will collaborate with operations teams, service groups, and external partners to resolve complex issues, deliver secure services, and participate in Blue

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + Security+ Certification and 6 years of security experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Industry certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM) preferred; 3+ years with security tools.
• PowerShell, Bash, Python scripting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide security engineering designs for infrastructure and data systems.
• Validate security requirements, definitions and analyses.
• Recommend and design statewide security standards.
• Coordinate and support information security policies and guidelines.
• Research and stay current on information security technologies.
