Qualifications

• 3+ years of programming experience in an OO language such as Python, Ruby, Go, Java, Swift, C++, or .Net.
• 2+ years of scripting, programming, and security code review experience in a common programming language.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating basic tasks using command line tools.

• Analyze the security of applications and services; discover, address, and help resolve security issues
• Build security automation to improve response speed and consistency
• Develop solutions to complex business problems by selecting appropriate technologies and applying security engineering best practices
• Serve as a mentor to more junior engineers and provide security thought leadership
• Perform application security reviews and conduct penetration testing
• Support projects and research work as needed
• Provide security training and outreach to internal development teams
• Create and maintain security guidance documentation
• Contribute to security tool development
• Deliver and continuously improve security metrics
