Job summary

Lumen Resources in Orlando is seeking a Security Engineer to support our client’s information security program through hands-on security engineering, incident response, and GRC execution.

The role partners with IT, Engineering, Legal, HR, and Finance to protect systems and data while supporting audit readiness and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in information security or security engineering.
• Hands-on incident response and security operations.
• Familiarity with Azure and security frameworks (SOC 2, NIST, PCI-DSS).

Responsibilities

• Support the client's information security program through hands-on engineering.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in information security, security engineering, or IT security.
• Hands-on experience with security operations and incident response.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Azure.
• Working knowledge of security/compliance frameworks (SOC 2, NIST, PCI-DSS).
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize in a regulated environment.
