Job Description
Location: Washington, DC
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Duration: 12 month contract, with possible extension
W-2 or 1099
No C2C, visa transfers, or sponsorship
The DNA Group is looking for a Security Endpoint Engineer/Administrator who will implement and manage endpoint security and device management tools. This role supports provisioning, patching, and protection platforms like Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Tanium, Jamf, and CrowdStrike. The candidate will also provide Tier III support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with policies and security standards. Strong teamwork, communication skills, and deep technical knowledge are essential.
Overview Requirements:
Mastery in endpoint device and patch management using Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Tanium, and Jamf.
Proficient in Windows Autopilot, software packaging/distribution, and policy configuration.
Hands-on experience with security platforms such as CrowdStrike and antivirus tools.
Ability to develop and implement security policies, monitor systems, and apply patches.
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Perl, or Regex for automation.
Capable of troubleshooting and recovering from system or software failures.
Experience supporting Tier III escalations and coordinating with impacted agencies.
Knowledge of system monitoring, backup verifications, and infrastructure compliance.
Experience with day-to-day administration of MDM environments including Intune, Autopilot, and Jamf.
Skilled in application packaging and scripting for deployment across Windows and macOS.
Proven ability to coordinate and drive endpoint solutions that improve OS deployment, user operations, and reporting processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Endpoint Engineering.
Hands-on experience managing and supporting Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Microsoft Intune, and Tanium; experience with Jamf is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong background in data security and networking principles and practices.
