Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Security Officer EMT Patrol in Ambridge, PA. You will monitor and patrol facilities, provide customer service, and deter incidents.

Requires EMT certification, HS diploma, and a valid driver’s license where applicable. Schedule includes Wed 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM and Thu 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM; background check and drug screen are required by law; licensing varies by state.

Qualifications

• Possess an EMT certification.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing & industrial facilities, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Report hazards, equipment concerns, property damage, and security-related incidents through required documentation and communication channels.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an EMT certification.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
