Job summary

Seabrook Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Security and Emergency Services Officer to implement the SES program under supervision. You will patrol the property, provide relief staffing at the gatehouse, and respond to non-emergency service requests.

Qualifications include being 18+, possessing a valid driver's license, and prior security experience. The role supports a continuing care retirement community with focus on resident safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security preferred.
• Ability to document daily activities in a clear and concise manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular interior and exterior patrols of buildings and grounds.
• Conduct safety checks and inspections in support of Life Safety and OSHA compliance.
• Receive non-emergency service calls from dispatch by radio or telephone and respond timely.
• Respond to community emergencies as needed (fires, floods, severe weather, etc.).
• Create a positive first impression of the community for residents and visitors.
• Screen vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering the community and manage visitor/contractor parking passes.

In this role, you will perform regular property patrols, provide relief staffing at the gatehouse, and respond to non-emergency service calls.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience from $18-$20 per hour.

How you will make an impact

• Participate in routine interior and exterior patrols of the buildings and grounds
• Conduct safety checks and inspections in support of Life Safety and OSHA compliance
• Receive calls for non-emergency service from dispatch and security by radio or telephone and responds timely and appropriately
• Respond and assists in Community Emergencies, including but not limited to; fires, floods, severe weather, hazardous materials incidents, bomb threats, and evacuations
• Create the best initial impression of the community
• Screen all vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering the community
• Document all visitors and vendors/contractors and provides proper parking passes, maps, and instructs visitors to park in appropriate spaces

What you will need

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Current and valid driver's license
• Prior experience in security preferred
• Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other
• Ability to document daily activities in a clear and concise manner
