M.C. Dean, Inc. is hiring a Security Electronics Technician II to install, maintain, and test electronic security systems across federal, local, and commercial projects. The role emphasizes intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, and related IT systems, with major travel and on-site leadership duties.

Candidates should have a strong electronics background, 4+ years in the field, and the ability to manage inspections, scheduling, and documentation. A Top Secret eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours)
• Graduation from Electronics Technician program or Electrical Apprenticeship
• An additional three (3) years of electronics installation/maintenance activities
• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
• 3 years of the above experience focused in electronic security systems

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electronic security systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Perform inspections, evaluations, and inventory.
• Participate in large, complex installation projects with limited supervision.
• Lead on-site software commissioning and testing.
• Document daily reports and project progress.
• Forecast and manage project labor hours.
