CGL Facility Management, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Security Electronics Technician assigned to Sussex State Prison in Waverly, VA. You will manage electronic security systems, preventive maintenance, and inspections to ensure safety and operational integrity.

Responsibilities include maintaining CMMS records, reading blueprints, and coordinating with client staff. A high school diploma or GED and 4–6 years in security electronics with strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4-6 years dealing with security electronics experience in commercial environments preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and customer service mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are executed on time per specifications.
• Document work orders and maintain records; learn facility layout and equipment locations.
• Assist in CMMS maintenance database, PM schedules, warranty status, and inventory.
• Maintain professional relationships with client staff and provide solutions.
• Read blueprints and schematics; inspect building security and electronic systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective electronics maintenance; ensure OSHA compliance.
