Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients. The Security Electronics Technician is responsible for all electronic systems and computerized controls for the facility, including locking systems, fire alarm systems, intercoms, CCTV, nurse-call, and other security-related systems.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance scheduling, CMMS administration, and maintaining safe, compliant operations within the facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4-6 years dealing with security electronics experience in commercial environments preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Must provide outstanding customer service to meet the needs of our client.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all preventive maintenance schedules are executed on a timely basis per manufacturers' specifications or client requirements.
• Learn CMMS, preventive maintenance schedules, warranty status, and inventory for spare parts, materials, and supplies.
• Maintain a professional relationship with client staff, answer questions, provide solutions and make recommendations.
• May be required to provide training technicians and mentor others as needed.
• Read blueprints and schematics to support maintenance tasks.
• Perform preventive and corrective electronics maintenance work orders.
• Adhere to OSHA codes and contractual client standards.
