# Security Driver (Executive Protection)San Francisco Bay Area, CA$50 - $60Standard EmployeeHourly Wage## About the Role- Provide safe, secure, and discreet transportation for the principal, family, and guests.- Execute tactical/defensive driving, countersurveillance, and evasive maneuvers as needed and in compliance with law and policy.- Conduct route analysis and maintain P-A-C-E routes (Primary, Alternate, Contingency, Emergency).- Maintain expert knowledge of local, regional, and international road networks, airports, hotels, and venues.- Ensure assigned vehicles are mission-ready (fueled/charged, clean, serviced) and stocked with comfort and emergency items; perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs.- Maintain vigilance during movements, load/unload procedures, and holding positions; respond decisively to emergencies including medical events, accidents, or security incidents.- Execute pre-briefed emergency response protocols (e.g., evasive driving, rapid evacuation, coordination with law enforcement).- Collaborate with Executive Protection stakeholders on route and venue plans; conduct or contribute to advance work, site surveys, safe-haven identification, and liaison with venue security and law enforcement.- Participate in pre-mission briefs and after-action reviews.- Uphold strict confidentiality regarding client movements and personal information; deliver exceptional client service with discretion, etiquette, and professional appearance.## Key Responsibilities## Requirements* Minimum 5+ years of professional driving experience in law enforcement, military, or executive protection environments.* Graduate of a reputable Executive Protection Driving / Defensive Driving program.* Strong knowledge of vehicular preventive maintenance and operational safety.* Certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid/TECC.* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.* Current California BSIS guard card, Exposed firearm permit, and CCW/LEOSA.* Ability to remain composed under pressure and make rapid, sound decisions.* Ability to work assigned shifts, including overtime, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.* CPR certification.* AED certification.* First Aid/TECC certification.* Valid driver's license (clean driving record).* California BSIS guard card.* Exposed firearm permit.* CCW/LEOSA.* Must be local to the San Francisco Bay Area (No Fly in/out)
