Job summary

The US United States Fleet Forces Command seeks a cybersecurity professional at the GG-2210-12 level to assess security risks, review testing, and develop plans to safeguard critical networks. You will work with system owners to resolve issues and ensure compliance metrics.

Strong oral communication is required to present recommendations to leadership, and you will implement security measures, perform vulnerability remediation, and apply STIG guidance using assessment tools.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing security testing, identifying gaps and developing a security risk management plan.
• Experience working with system owners to resolve security issues and meet compliance metrics.
• Experience providing oral recommendations to leadership based on cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Experience executing security measures to mitigate risks, resolve vulnerabilities and recommend security changes to systems.

Responsibilities

• Experience utilizing Windows server and desktop Operating System products and applications, including roles, services and features.
• Experience applying patch and vulnerability management and remediation of server, desktop and third-party products from Microsoft and other vendors.
• Experience utilizing and applying Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
• Experience operating assessment tools to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
