Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security of all staff, artists, vendors, and guests.
• Prevent and resolve altercations among guests.
• Lead guests in emergency evacuation procedures.
• Check identification of guests under 30 years of age who are drinking alcohol.
• Inspect every guest with a metal detector or pat-down search to prevent weapons.
• Enforce venue policy regarding photos/videos/recording devices.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities.
• Communicate clearly using radios, hand signals, and flashlights.
• Set up area before opening and keep venue clean and safe.
• Assist with closing tasks and securing event equipment.

Create and maintain a positive and uplifting experience for diverse groups of individuals.**What You’ll Need:*****Required:**** High school diploma or equivalent experience* Ability to work late hours, flexible schedule* Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures* Read, write, and speak English fluently* Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms* Pass a mandatory background check* Ability to work as part of a TEAM***Preferred:**** 3 years’ work experience interacting with people in a positive environment* Experience in a live music environment* Experience in a security role* Experience using metal detection equipment***Physical Demands/Working Environment:**** Working environment is fast paced, often loud and stressful* Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet both indoors and outdoors* Must be able to lift or move 25 lbs.+ using proper lifting techniques**What You’ll Do:*** Ensure guest safety through proactive personal interaction and removing hazards in the area of responsibility* Prevent and resolve altercations among guests* Lead guests and other employees in emergency evacuation procedures and aid* Maintain control by circulating through your work area throughout the shift* Check identification of any guest who appears to be under 30 years of age who is drinking alcoholic beverages inside the venue* Ensure that no weapons or harmful items enter the venue by inspecting every guest with a metal detector or pat-down search* Enforce venue policy regarding photos/videos/recording devices* Safeguard against theft and property damage* Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.* Communicate clearly using radios, hand signals and flashlights.
