Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Cleared Security Officer (Unarmed) to protect personnel and assets at a DoD-cleared site. This role requires Secret and Top Secret clearance and involves working Monday through Friday from 3pm to 11pm. Beginning pay is $24.41 per hour with paid training and orientation.

Responsibilities include patrols, guest escorts, and reporting security concerns to the client and team. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance (Secret and Top Secret).
• Licensing requirements vary by state and may be required before employment.
• Three years of security experience on a DoD-cleared site or prior military experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate client-specific security tech.

Job Description

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Required - Unarmed). At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site‑specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.

Starting Pay $24.41 / hour

Must have DOD, Secret and top Secret clearance

Monday - Friday 3pm - 11pm

Paid training and Paid orientation

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• Follow site‑specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person’s stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Must possess one or more of the following:
• Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense‑cleared site
• Prior military experience
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
• Associate’s degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
