Qualifications

• Must successfully complete Central Dispatch Officer written and practical testing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Safety and Security department actions for patients, visitors, and employees.
• Monitor and provide response to all public safety and property protection situations.
• Transmit radio traffic between Hospital Security and location police and fire.

Security Dispatcher

The Security Dispatcher works as a pivotal member to coordinate Safety and Security department actions provided to patients, visitors, and employees of Community Health Network. The Security Dispatcher monitors and provides appropriate immediate response to all public safety, property protection, risk management, customer and staff education, investigations, parking, and security contract services situations affecting Community Health Network.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and/or equivalent experience in Public Safety preferred
• Previous security, law enforcement or central station operations experience preferred
• Must successfully complete Central Dispatch Officer written and practical testing after the training period is completed
