Job summary

Riverside Research in Dayton, OH seeks a Microelectronics Security Data Scientist to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on security-focused microelectronics research. The role requires TS-level security clearance and work in a secure US Government facility with limited travel.

You will conduct data science research, manage the full lifecycle, develop whitepapers, mentor junior researchers, and work with customers and engineering teams on challenging hardware security projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3 years with a Masters degree, a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience is typically required for an employee at this level.
• Secret clearance required to start, but must be able obtain Top Secret security clearance and all required program access approvals.
• Experience across the full data science lifecycle for classification/regression, clustering, text analytics, image recognition, or related applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in data science applications for microelectronic hardware security.
• Gathers requirements, proposes approaches, pre-processes data, performs exploratory analysis, models data, and presents findings.
• Develops whitepapers and presentations to communicate research findings.
• Contributes to proposals for new research in related technology areas.
• Provides technical mentorship to junior researchers on programs.
• Collaborates with customers and cross-disciplinary teams on complex research projects.
