Job summary

Computer World Services Corp (CWS) is seeking an experienced Security Analyst/Data Security Specialist to support planning, coordination, and implementation of information security programs. You will maintain and enhance security infrastructure including firewalls, IDS/IPS, log aggregation, and file integrity monitoring systems, while addressing threats and vulnerabilities.

The role requires 5–7 years in information security and hands-on experience with DLP, encryption, Netsparker, and SIEM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or Engineering, or four years of related experience.
• Five to seven years of information security experience or related field.
• Experience administering firewall systems, IDS/IPS, and DLP solutions.
• Knowledge of security protocols, encryption, and log aggregation.
• Experience with Netsparker for application security testing.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage firewall systems, IDS/IPS, log aggregation, web traffic filtering, and file integrity monitoring applications.
• Design and monitor security measures for LAN/WAN environments.
• Investigate Alerts from DLP agents and resolve DLP rule issues.
• Monitor systems for threats and respond to security incidents.
• Define requirements for future security programs and collaborate with teams.
• Implement encryption techniques and deploy security tools.
• Evaluate commercial security products and technologies.
• Maintain knowledge of firewalls, protocols, and security tools.
• Document security incidents, configurations, and process changes.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Incorporate Netsparker to identify and remediate web vulnerabilities.
