Job summary

M.C. Dean, a leader in building intelligence and secure infrastructure, seeks an Operations Process & Data Analyst for the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit.

The role focuses on analytical work, data-driven decision support, and process improvement across federal, local, and commercial customers. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience (Master’s preferred), proficiency in Excel/Power BI/Tableau, SQL, Python, and strong writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite, specifically MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated management consulting experience.
• Demonstrated mastery of research techniques.
• Experience building training or education materials and facilitating learning sessions.
• Experience with Department of Defense customers and federal doctrine/guidance.
• Process analysis/re-engineering experience; Lean Six Sigma certification desired.
• Experience creating SOPs, user guides, work instructions, policies, etc.
• Descriptive, inferential, and predictive data analysis using Excel, SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Strong writing skills.
• Experience with systems architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, DODAF, FEAF).

Responsibilities

• Drive and collaborate on analytical, product development, implementation, training, and customer-critical event efforts.
• Support establishing client relationships and assess client issues to propose solutions; summarize client correspondence for project leadership.
• Perform open-source and enclave research to understand directives, mission requirements, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct requirements analysis and problem-framing for follow-on analysis.
• Develop operational concepts and requirements translating into technical specs.
• Analyze, document, and implement changes to processes and procedures.
• Plan and conduct data collection, analysis, and decision-support activities with customers and stakeholders.
• Create documentation, reports, and presentations defining problems and recommended solutions.
• Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality and compliance with standards.
• Work independently on projects and guide team members as needed.
