Job summary

Deloitte GPS Security seeks a data analyst to lead our reporting efforts. You will develop, implement, and analyze reports to support strategic decisions, such as identifying data issues, targeting investments to improve efficiency, and informing staffing allocations.

This role requires strong Excel, Tableau, and SharePoint skills, SQL querying, data quality controls, and the ability to communicate metrics clearly to clients and leaders. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Active US Secret security clearance.
• 4+ years of data analysis and reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel tools: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Macros.
• Experience with Tableau and SharePoint site management.
• Ability to identify patterns, trends, or behaviors in data.
• Basic understanding of databases and data mining.
• Able to work independently and with a team.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel ~10%.
• Familiarity with national security or positions of trust is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run routine and ad-hoc reports.
• Create dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to inform decisions.
• Write and update SQL queries to join data across relational databases.
• Audit data for reporting and metric integrity.
• Develop data quality rules and monitoring for reporting repositories.
• Summarize metrics clearly for clients and leaders to support data-driven decisions.
• Develop and implement improvements to reporting processes and data integrity.
• Manage and organize reporting information on SharePoint for easy access.
• Learn about the National Industrial Security Program and its Deloitte implementation.
• Develop general knowledge of security processes and Deloitte GPS Security services.
• Protect confidentiality of sensitive and/or PII information.
