Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring Custom Protection Officers at Canonsburg Hospital for full-time roles paying $19.00 per hour. Shifts include 11:00PM-7:00AM and 3:00PM-11:00PM, up to 40 hours weekly, weekends included.

Officers perform patrols, assist nursing staff, respond to incidents, and safeguard clients across healthcare and other sites. Requirements include 18+ (21+ for armed), a high school diploma or equivalent, and two or more related qualifications; uniforms and paid training provided;

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Two or more qualifications from the list must be held (military security, public safety academy, bachelor’s in law enforcement, 8+ years military, or associate degree with military service).

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed.
• Provide customer service and enforce site policies, including emergency response.
• Respond calmly to incidents and conduct regular patrols around the business and perimeter.

8+ years of military service

Allied Universal is Hiring Custom Protections Officers at Canonsburg Hospital

Full-Time - $19.00 / Hour

11:00PM-7:00AM / 3:00PM-11:00PM Available - Up to 40 Hours Per Week, Weekends Included in Schedule

Custom Protections Officers must possess two or more of the following:

• • Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
  • Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
  • Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
  • A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
  • Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service

- Officer may be required to assist nursing staff with patient restraints - proper training provided

- Officer may be required to escort nursing staff to hospital morgue with deceased patients

- Officer must be at least 21+ Years of Age

- Frequent walking/standing required (indoor/outdoor); Moderate technological usage required

- Multiple vaccinations are required prior to working on site (company paid) including: two-stage Tuberculosis screening, MMR, Varicella, Tetanus screenings (TB testing instructions provided at orientation)

- Child abuse clearance will be submitted at orientation

As a Custom Protection Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Responsibilities:

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or calls police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site‑specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Must possess two or more of the following:
