Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Custom Protection Officer (CPO) Flex Officer in McKees Rocks, PA. The role conducts armed and/or unarmed patrols, controls access, monitors CCTV, and prepares reports. Flex shifts may require irregular hours with little notice and weekly pay is provided.

Qualifications include HS diploma or higher, military/law enforcement experience or related degree, and the ability to interact with the public. Competitive benefits and paid training are offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess one or more of the following: service in a related military/law enforcement role, safety academy graduate, or relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice fields.
• 8+ years of military service.
• Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for unusual conditions and safety hazards.
• Respond to alarms and notify authorities.

Allied Universal is Hiring ARMED Custom Protections Officers in McKees Rocks - ACT 235 CERTIFICATION REQUIRED PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT

Full-Time - $23.00 / Hour

Flex Officers are Scheduled Up to 40 Hours Per Week, Weekends Included in Schedule

Custom Protections Officers must possess one or more of the following:

• Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
• Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
• A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
• Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service

Allied Universal® is hiring a Custom Protection Officer (CPO) Flex Officer. The Custom Protection Officer Flex Officer will conduct armed and/or unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior). Additional duties include control access and egress; monitor CCTV and alarm systems; compose reports; deter criminal activity and misconduct. The Custom Protection Flex Officer will work at various assignments and may be called upon to work irregular shifts at times with little to no advance notice.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or calls police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
• Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE)

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess one or more of the following

• Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
• Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies

• Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. *A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
