Shorehaven is seeking a dependable Security/Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff in Wisconsin. Schedule runs Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

with every 4th weekend rotation. The role blends custodial, facility support, and security responsibilities for an independent worker who makes a daily positive impact. Responsibilities include cleaning, carpet care, security rounds, event setup, and minor maintenance tasks.

Formación

• At least 1 year of custodial, housekeeping, maintenance, security, or related experience.
• Able to lift and move items as needed.
• Comfortable working in a senior living environment.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of resident and common areas.
• Vacuum and shampoo carpets; clean stairwells, elevators, and other interior areas.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Set up and tear down rooms for meetings and events.
• Conduct routine building security rounds and lock/unlock doors as scheduled.
• Respond to minor maintenance issues and assist with safety checks.
• Assist with snow removal and seasonal facility needs.
• Assist in transporting residents to appointments as needed.
• Report safety concerns and facility issues.

Shorehaven is seeking a dependable and motivated Security/Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. This position combines custodial, facility support, and security responsibilities and is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while making a positive impact every day.

What You'll Do

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of resident and common areas
• Vacuum and shampoo carpets; clean stairwells, elevators, and other assigned interior areas
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables
• Set up and tear down rooms for meetings and events
• Conduct routine building security rounds
• Lock and unlock doors according to schedule
• Respond to minor maintenance issues, perform light preventive maintenance, and assist with emergency response activities
• Assist in driving residents to and from appointments as needed
• Report safety concerns and facility issues
• Assist with snow removal and other seasonal facility needs

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of custodial, housekeeping, maintenance, security, or related experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license or ability to obtain one
