Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Security Coordinator – Level4 in Redondo Beach, CA. This is 100% onsite work with duties spanning security administration, document control, shipments, and visitor management for classified programs.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, supporting VIP tours, and providing security support for meetings. The role requires a Top-Secret clearance and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Job Overview

Security Coordinator – Level4 located in Redondo Beach, CA. 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

Job responsibilities

• Support a fast‑paced high‑profile environment
• Create, maintain, and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers
• Maintain meticulous records and input accurate data into multiple databases and spreadsheets
• Support Classified Material Services functions, including document control
• Process incoming and outgoing classified shipments and transfers
• Process security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and visitor control
• Conduct Media Control, Accountability, and Destruction for classified programs
• Manage secure conference room reservations, order supplies, and provide security support for meetings
• Support VIP tours and other administrative tasks as assigned
• Lift up to 30 lbs as required

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with six additional years of education and/or related experience
• Active U.S. Government Top‑Secret security clearance at the time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time
• Organized and efficient at time management
• Experience with computer and desktop Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with databases such as SIMS, JPAS/DISS
• Experience with NISPOM, ICD, and other customer documentation
• Self‑starter with minimal supervision
• Displays tact, discretion, and diplomacy in a variety of program areas
• Excels in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
• Excellent communication skills (speaking, writing, and organizational)

Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $61,100.00 – $101,800.00.

Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus. Additional benefits include health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company‑paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and personal business.
