Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Control Room Officer for a full-time position in Hillsboro, OR. The role involves monitoring access, patrolling premises, and maintaining security protocols.

You will work on diverse shifts including nights and weekends, with comprehensive training and benefits. Ideal candidates have customer service experience, a valid driver license, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conflicts resolved and de-escalated.
• Control access at security entrances/exits.
• Patrol client premises indoors and outdoors in all weather.
• Interact with client employees and guests frequently.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team to achieve site goals daily.
• Carry out tasks of similar nature as assigned.
