Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Security Officer for full-time work in Hillsboro, OR. The role includes access control, patrols, and incident reporting, with shifts from 12am-8am or 8am-4pm.

You will engage with clients and staff to maintain safety and security at the site. Ideal candidates have strong communication and customer service skills, basic computer proficiency, and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform access control at security entrances/exits.
• Conduct patrols inside/outside client premises in various conditions.
• Identify and report safety hazards or suspicious activity.
• Prepare clear, detailed written reports for site records.
• Respond to emergencies with judgment and escalation as needed.
• Work with a team to meet site goals on a daily basis.

• Monday - Friday 12am-8am
• Friday - Tuesday 8am-4pm

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills required.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
