Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor integrated electronic security systems and act as primary communications for security and emergencies.
• Coordinate response activities for incidents, emergencies, and alarm activations.
• Dispatch security personnel and resources to incident locations.
• Maintain situational awareness of on-duty personnel and activities.
• Monitor CCTV, intrusion detection, and access control systems.
• Communicate security, medical, fire, and emergency information to relevant personnel.
• Support emergency response operations and assist first responders.
• Maintain accurate logs, records, and incident documentation.
• Prepare attendance rosters, activity reports, and after-action documentation for events.
• Provide professional customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and government personnel.

This position plays a critical role in monitoring security systems, coordinating emergency communications, and supporting incident response activities that help protect MDA personnel, facilities, and resources.

Responsibilities

• Monitor integrated electronic security systems and serve as the primary communications point for security and emergency operations.
• Coordinate response activities for security incidents, emergencies, and alarm activations.
• Dispatch security personnel and resources to incident locations as required.
• Maintain situational awareness of on-duty personnel and operational activities.
• Monitor intrusion detection, access control, and closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems.
• Communicate security, medical, fire, and emergency information to appropriate personnel and agencies.
• Support emergency response operations and assist first responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate operational logs, records, and incident documentation.
• Develop and maintain attendance rosters, activity reports, and after-action documentation for special events as required.
• Provide professional customer service while interacting with employees, contractors, visitors, and government personnel.
• Support compliance with established security procedures, operational requirements, and emergency response protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of six (6) months of alarm monitoring experience or one (1) year of experience in access control, security operations, or a related field.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Must possess current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and First Aid certifications.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and apply written policies, procedures, instructions, and training materials.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Department of Defense, Missile Defense Agency, or federal government facilities.
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC), dispatch center, or alarm monitoring environment.
• Experience monitoring CCTV, intrusion detection, and access control systems.
• Experience supporting emergency communications and incident response operations.
• Familiarity with security reporting and incident documentation processes.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Must know a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and Outlook.
