Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology in Colorado Springs seeks a Senior SCA/IS Security Analyst to oversee security control assessments across collateral, SCI, and SAP environments. You will lead RMF-based evaluations, advise key stakeholders, and prepare SARs for Authorization and POA&M.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in SAP, SCI or Collateral Information Systems (IS) Security and the implementation of regulations identified in the description of duties.
• Prior performance in the role of ISSO and ISSM.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform oversight of the development, implementation and evaluation of IS security program policy; special emphasis placed upon integration of existing SAP network infrastructure.
• Perform assessment of ISs, based upon the RMF methodology in accordance with JSIG.
• Advise the ISO, IDO, PSO, and DAO/AO on assessment and authorization issues.
• Evaluate Authorization packages and make recommendations for authorization.
• Evaluate IS threats and vulnerabilities to determine required safeguards.
• Advise Government on impact levels for Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability.
• Ensure security assessments are completed and SAR prepared for the Authorization boundary.
• Initiate POA&M with identified weaknesses.
• Assess Authorization boundaries based on SAR findings and recommendations.
• Provide written recommendations for security authorization to Government.
• Discuss recommendation for authorization and submit package to AO/DAO.
• Assess proposed changes to boundaries operating environment and mission needs.
• Review sanitizations and clearing procedures per Government guidance.
• Assist Government with security incidents and ensure corrective actions.
• Ensure SDLC security integration and proper hardware/software evaluation.
• Evaluate Continuous Monitoring Plans and represent the customer on inspection teams.
