Job summary

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Security Control Assessor/Representative (SCA/R) to lead security control assessments across high-priority DoD AI projects from Arlington, VA. You will evaluate controls within AWS, DevSecOps pipelines, and GenAI stacks, driving playbooks and RMF artifacts for rapid prototyping environments.

Ideal candidates have TS clearance, IAM Level II/III, 3–5+ years in DoD/federal assessments, and strong communication to engineers and leadership.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• 3–5+ years of security control assessments for DoD or federal information systems.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and how controls operate in cloud-native and CI/CD environments.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 Rev.4/5 and RMF.
• Experience writing and evaluating RMF artifacts (SSPs, SAPs, SARs, POA&Ms).
• Experience navigating eMASS or XACTA repositories.

Responsibilities

• Execute formal SCA/R duties.
• Lead security assessment efforts and develop reusable playbooks and frameworks.
• Evaluate control effectiveness across AWS, DevSecOps pipelines, and GenAI stacks.
• Coordinate with AOs, program managers, and engineering leads to deliver risk briefings and ATO recommendations.
• Provide input for cybersecurity engineering and testing across prototypes.
