Job summary

Dark Wolf Solutions in Arlington, VA is hiring for Security Control Assessors/Representatives to lead security assessment efforts across DoD AI projects. You will evaluate security controls in AWS, DevSecOps pipelines, and AI stacks, and author SSPs/SAPs/SARs/POA&Ms for rapid prototyping. Hybrid/remote work options available.

Required TS clearance, IAM Level II/III, 3–5+ years in security assessments, and strong communication skills to articulate risk to executives and teams.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• 3–5+ years of experience conducting security control assessments or RMF activities for DoD or federal information systems.
• Solid understanding of NIST SP 800-53 (Rev. 4/5), NIST SP 800-37 RMF, DoD Cloud Computing SRG, and FedRAMP baselines.
• Experience writing and evaluating RMF artifacts (SSPs, SAPs, SARs, POA&Ms).
• Strong communication skills to explain technical risk to executives and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead security assessment efforts and develop reusable playbooks for rapid AI deployment.
• Evaluate security controls across AWS, DevSecOps pipelines, microservices, and containerized workloads.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity engineering and DevSecOps teams to embed security in the development lifecycle.
• Prepare and tailor SSPs, SAPs, SARs, and POA&Ms for prototyping and AI systems.
• Coordinate with AOs, program managers, and leads to deliver risk briefings and ATO recommendations.
