Job summary

Broadridge in Newark, NJ is seeking a Physical Security Console Operator to monitor CCTV, access control, security records, and badge issuance, ensuring site safety and asset protection.

This is an on-site role with hours 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Sunday through Thursday, with occasional overtime. You will perform roving patrols, document events, and coordinate with the Security Management Team to address security concerns.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be vigilant and able to report security issues clearly.
• Basic PC skills including MS Office are required.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing site security and protection of assets and personnel.
• Control and monitor personnel access to the facility.
• Monitor and report alarms and CCTV events; log incidents.
• Respond to alarms, evaluate, and resolve issues at the console.
• Conduct roving patrols and report procedural breaches.
• Keep Security Management Team informed and assist as needed.
• Work 2:30 PM–10:30 PM Sunday–Thursday with possible overtime.
