IntusCare is hiring a Manager, Security & Compliance to own our security, privacy, and healthcare compliance program. You’ll lead governance, risk management, audits, and incident response in collaboration with Engineering, Product, and IT teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership in HITRUST certification, audit readiness, and building scalable security controls across a growing healthcare SaaS platform. Fully remote in the United States.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in information security, healthcare compliance, privacy, or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST, privacy requirements, and security control frameworks.
• Proven experience leading audits, risk assessments, and remediation activities with external advisors.
• Experience leading HITRUST certification end to end as accountable owner.
• Practical understanding of cloud/SaaS security, IAM, encryption, logging, and incident response.

Responsabilités

• Own and improve security and compliance programs (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST).
• Lead HITRUST certification end to end including scoping and evidence collection.
• Lead audits, risk assessments, security reviews, and remediation efforts.
• Manage external security and compliance partners and translate findings into owned remediation.
• Maintain security policies, BAAs, data handling, and breach response plans.
• Partner with Engineering and Product to embed security in SDLC and AI development guardrails.
• Oversee access management, logging, encryption, and vendor risk.
