Job summary

Eastern Bank, based in Brockton, MA, seeks a Security & Compliance Analyst Manager to align security operations with internal and external policies. You'll conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments, analyze data and trends, and develop proactive strategies to mitigate threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Criminal Justice, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in security operations, compliance, or risk assessment.
• Strong knowledge of physical security protocols, compliance frameworks and threat intelligence; banking experience preferred.
• Experience with Bank Secrecy Act and supporting Bank Security Officer role.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data.
• Experience producing actionable intelligence products is a plus.
• Proven ability to develop and implement security training programs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.
• Certifications such as CPP, PSP are a plus; ASIS/ABA/ATAP affiliations are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver security training programs covering robbery prevention/response, open and close procedures, and other physical security matters
• Ensure organizational compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices
• Conduct risk assessments across company locations, maintaining standardized checklists for consistent compliance
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data to identify security trends and vulnerabilities
• Review and respond to threat intelligence reports and security alerts, escalating and mitigating issues in a timely manner
• Proactively identify potential threats and develop response and recovery plans
• Coordinate with internal departments (HR, IT, Legal) and external partners (law enforcement, vendors) on incident response
• Maintain documentation of assessments, compliance audits, and incident reports
• Recommend improvements to security systems, procedures, and training programs

We're looking for a Security & Compliance Analyst Manager to help ensure our organization's security operations and procedures align with internal and external policies. In this role, you'll support enterprise-wide risk management by conducting regular risk assessments, analyzing security data and trends, and developing proactive strategies to mitigate potential threats. You'll also lead security training initiatives and partner with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen our overall security posture.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of experience in security operations, compliance, or risk assessment
• Strong knowledge of physical security protocols, compliance frameworks, and threat intelligence practices — banking industry experience preferred
• Experience with the Bank Secrecy Act and supporting a Bank Security Officer role
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets
• Experience collecting and analyzing intelligence information to produce actionable intelligence products (preferred)
• Proven ability to develop and implement security training programs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional coordination
• Certifications such as CPP, PSP, or similar are a plus
• Membership/affiliation with ASIS International, ATAP, or ABA Security Committee is a plus

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role based out of our Brockton corporate location, with occasional travel between company locations. On-call availability for incident response is required. The role is primarily office-based, with occasional lifting/moving of items up to 20 pounds.
